Products rejected as defective by the buyer at destination shall be reported fully in writing within thirty (30) days of receipt and may be returned prepaid after receiving a return authorization number from Brailsford & Co., Inc. No collect shipments will be accepted. Defective products will be repaired or replaced and domestic, non-premium shipping charges incurred by the buyer will be reimbursed if examination by Brailsford & Co., Inc. confirms buyer’s complaint. No material may be returned for credit only, unless specifically authorized by Brailsford & Co., Inc. No claim for defective material will be allowed where examination discloses that there has been:
(1) Mechanical or electrical damage or disassembly.
(2) Mechanical or electrical modification, including removal of any nameplate(s) or manufacturer mark(s).
(3) Application under load, and/or voltage, and/or environmental conditions contrary to the published specifications of the specific device involved.
Brailsford & Co., Inc.’s responsibility shall be limited to the repair or replacement of genuinely defective material, together with shipping charges pertaining thereto.
